Ann Legerski, 95, of Florence, Wis., passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Dickinson County Hospital, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born June 9, 1911, in Denver, Colorado, daughter of the late Steve and Tecla (Mazur) Demko. Ann grew up in Chicago, Ill. She married Paul Legerski and moved to Fern, Wis., where they operated the family farm from 1941 to 1960. Ann enjoyed cooking, gardening, and entertaining friends and family. She is survived by one daughter, Sally Wenzelow, Germantown, Wis.; two grandchildren, Richard Wenzelow, Fargo, N.D., Michelle (Jeff) Brown, West Bend, Wis.; two great-grandchildren, Gabe Wenzelow and Madison Brown. Besides her parents and husband, Paul, Ann was preceded in death by one son, Gene Legerski. Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2007, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Armstrong Creek, Wis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am, at the church. Fr. Matt Settle will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman, Wis.
