Niagara-Ann Giguere, age 93, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Monday, August 06, 2018, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.
Ann was born December 5, 1924, in Hermansville, Mich., daughter of the late Mary and Joseph Krznarich. She graduated from Kingsford High School, Class of 1942. Ann married Alan Giguere on August 16, 1947, at the American Martyrs Church in Kingsford, Mich. Ann and Alan resided in Niagara after they were married and had been married for 52 years. He preceded her in death on November 22, 1999.
Survivors include two sons, Tom (Shelly) Giguere, Weston, Wis. and Tim (Lynda) Giguere, Birnamwood, Wis.; two grandchildren, Andy and Ashley Giguere; one brother, Jack Krznarich, Baltimore, Maryland, and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alan, Ann was preceded in death by four brothers, Rudy (Anna), Joe (Jane), Peter (Donna), and Frank (Catherine) Krznarich; sister-in-law, Demi Krznarich; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis and Mary Giguere, and by two brothers-in-law, Don (Marcia) Giguere and James (Dorothy) Giguere.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara, Wis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. Fr. Michael Lightner will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wis.
Memorials can be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church in Ann's memory.
The family would like to thank Dr. John Loewen, the staff at Dickinson County Healthcare System, and the staff at Maryhill Manor for the fine care they afforded our mother. In addition, a very special thank you to Crystal Howen and her family, for all of the love and care she has provided to our mother.
