Crystal Falls-Ann G. Ellis, 56, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her home. She was born May 14, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Onofrio Joseph and Rosalie (Raimondo) Fortunato. Ann attended school in New York and received her associates degree in accounting. She was united in marriage to Brent Ellis on June 29, 2010 in Central Park, New York. Ann moved to Crystal Falls in 2014, coming from Michie, Tenn.. She was a member of the Michie Fire Department and co-owned and operated a store and wedding chapel in Tennessee. Ann was known as a "WWE, Dudley Mom". Survivors include her husband, Brent Ellis, Crystal Falls; two sons, John Dimeglio, Ann Arbor, Mich. and James (Barbara) Phillips, Crystal Falls, Mich.; one granddaughter, Elizabeth; three dear friends, Joe Palumbo, Matt Hyson and Janice Tumino; and by her dog, Snoopy. A memorial service will be held at a later date in New York. Burial will be in Greenwood National Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York. Donations may be made to a no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
