Ann Rose Clement, 86, of Mansfield Twp., Mich., passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Northstar Health System, Iron River. She was born on January 8, 1924, in Ralph, Mich., daughter of the late Emerick and Rose (Palmberger) Meinolf. Ann married Oliver E. Clement on July 3, 1948, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Northland, Mich.; he preceded her in death on April 24, 2007. Ann was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church, Channing, Mich., for over sixty-five years. She was involved in her community as a member of the Mansfield Memories Choir and a Mansfield Township Trustee for twenty years. She enjoyed artwork, painting, cooking, and feeding her friendly gophers in her yard. Ann was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all family and friends. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret (Rusty) Campbell, Hillsdale, Mich., Laura Lee (Doug) Wagner, Porterfield, Wis.; three sons, Thomas Clement, Mansfield, James Clement, Ralph, William Clement, Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Jessea (Steve) Adams, Joe (Alecia) Campbell, Tim (fiancé Katie) Campbell, Jamie (Jason) Slawinski, Jacob (Kate) Wagner, Katie (Richard) Brandon, Becky Wagner; four great-grandchildren, Isaac, Jasmine, Zoey, and Tommy; one sister, Rose Fillis, Iron Mountain, Mich.; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Adolph Meinolf. Visitation will be Friday, September 17, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. A family Rosary Service will be held 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010, at St. Rose Catholic Church, Channing. Rev. Daniel Zaloga will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls. Pallbearers include, Joe Campbell, Jake Wagner, Tim Campbell, Jason Slawinski, Richard Brandon, and Steve Adams.
