Ann J. Bendick, age 100, of Crystal Falls, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born December 12, 1911, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Pozeski) Bendick. Ann worked for the U.S. Veterans Administration in the clerical department with veteran hospitals in Milwaukee, Wis. and Iron Mountain. She was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Louis Bendick, Gene (Joyce) Bendick, Jim Bendick, Jon Bendick, Lynn Bendick, Wendy (Louis) Reitmeyer; Gary (Sheri) St. Martin, Debra Streck, Judy (Glen) Cater, William (Linda) Bendick, Gilbert (Bonnie) Fett; Paul Fett, Betty (Tom) Seidel; and many great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mildred St. Martin, Mary and Helen Fett, John, William, Louis, Joseph, and Stephen Bendick; nephews, John and Randy Fett. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. Rev. Jeffrey Kurtz will preside. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
