Niagara:
Angeline Tousignant age 95, of Niagara passed away Thursday August 11, 2005 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara.
Angeline was born on October 28, 1909 in Iron Mountain, Michigan daughter of the late Alexander and Filomena (Evangelista) Vespa.
Angeline attended Northern State Teacher's College in Marquette for two years. She worked at Sackim's Department Store for seven years.
She married Edward Tousignant in 1936. Edward preceded her in death in 1974. In her younger days, she grew the best garden on the block. Angeline was a wonderful seamstress and made a wedding dress that was worn by both her daughter and granddaughter. She also made the best cheese raviolis anywhere.
Survivors include one son Edward (Jean) Tousignant of Waterloo, WI, and a daughter Kathryn (Gerald) Kallenbach of Niagara, four grandchildren Dean Tousignant from Ft. Atkinison, WI, Diane (Tim) Hanson from Verona, WI, Sandra (Tim) Marshall of Niagara, and Suzanne (Mark) Miller of Monroe, WI, and eight great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband Edward, Angeline was preceded in death by a brother Andrew Vespa and a sister Mary Vespa.
Visitation will be Monday, August 15, 2005, from 10:00 to 11:00a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Niagara. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00a.m. at the church. Fr. Patrick Bernardy will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery.
