Hibbard

Florence
Florence – Andrew B. Hibbard, 63, of Florence, WI, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, Iron Mountain, MI.
He was born on February 13, 1963, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late James and Arvilla (Large) Hibbard.
Andrew moved with his family at a young age to Crystal Falls, MI, and was a graduate of Forest Park High School, class of 1981.
He was known as a hard-working concrete finisher who enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outside, gardening, and feeding the birds. He was the life of the party, who could find beauty in everything around him.
Andrew was very handy; he could build or fix anything. Wood crafting, cooking, and canning were among his many talents, but his nickname was “Spoons” because of his amazing ability to play the spoons.
He loved being with his family, especially on vacations to various parts of the world, including the Caribbean, and spending time with his beloved dog, Carmella.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Susan Smith; son, Drew (Corey Segerstrom) Hibbard; step-son, Brian (Jona) Braden; step-daughter, Christine (Dave) Balmes; sister, Debbie (Jack) Chervo; nieces, Amanda (Chris) Boyd, and Jamie (Adam) Schiavo; nephew, Michael (Niki) Leonard; and many great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Hibbard, Jr.
A Celebration of Andrew’s Life will be announced at a later date.
