Kingsford: Amy A. Spencer, age 92, of Kingsford, Michigan, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006, at Freeman Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsford. She was born September 10, 1914, in Wakefield, Mich., daughter of the late John and Hanna (Musatpaa) Ahola. She married Herbert Spencer, and he preceded her in death in 2000. Survivors include two sons, John Hudson Spencer, Kingsford, James (Barbara) Spencer, Virginia; one daughter, Marianne (Don) Christensen, Kingsford; one brother Norman (Marge) Ahola, Wakefield, Mich.; one sister, Marion Maki, Minn.; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many very special nieces and nephews and their families. Besides her parents and husband Herbert, Amy was preceded in death by a granddaughter Deanna Jean Novara, and an infant daughter of James and Barbara Spencer. Private services were held. Burial will be in Wakefield, Michigan.
