Alyce J. Davitz, 99, of Pembine, Wis., passed away Monday, June 6, 2011, at Rennes Health Center West, Peshtigo, Wis.
She was born on June 22, 1911, in Bessemer, Mich., daughter of the late John and Anna Bonevitz. Alyce married George Davitz in 1930. They were married 71 years. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2001.
Alyce had many hobbies throughout the years including golfing, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and going to the casino. She was also known for her beautiful crocheting.
She is survived by one son, Raymond (Beverly) Davitz, Gulf Breeze, Fla.; two grandchildren, John (Bell) Davitz, Ridgecrest, Calif., Tammy (Shawn) Krajnik, Gulf Breeze; three great-grandchildren, Justin and David Davitz, and Kaitlyn Rasmussen.
Along with her husband and parents, Alyce was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and John Bonevitz; six sisters, Catherine, Minnie, Elizabeth, Marge, Jean and Angeline.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Pembine Cemetery, Pembine, Wis.
