Niagara- Alois L. "Al" Geiger III, 75, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at his home. He was born January 13, 1945 in Cudahy, Wis., son of the late Alois L. II and Dorothy (Littman) Geiger. Al grew up in Milwaukee and was a graduate of Bayview High School, he then attended Milwaukee Area Technical College. Al proudly served in the United States Army, 117th Airborne Brigade until his honorable discharge. On November 20, 1997 he was united in marriage to Ruth Dowling. He worked as a surgical assistant at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, retiring in 2010. Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth Geiger; one son, James Geiger; one daughter, Laura Strothman; siblings, Michael Geiger and Jennifer Geiger; and by grandchildren, Noah Geiger and Chase Strothman. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Adam Geiger and one grandson, Ryan Geiger. In accordance with Al's wishes, private family services will be held.
