Alice E. McCumber, 79, of Crystal Falls, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born April 12, 1936, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Bates) McCumber. Alice was a lifelong resident of Mansfield Twp. She enjoyed crafts and knitting. Alice was a special caregiver to her father and her brother, Stanley, over the years. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family. She is survived by one brother, Curtis (Ruth) McCumber, Mansfield Twp. and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Eugene McCumber and one sister, Gladys Salo. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. Prayers will be offered Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
