Alice was an avid and talented artist showing her talents during high school and continuing with painting and crafts of lighthouses, birds and numerous nautical themes. She also enjoyed crafting driftwood and water soaked tree roots transforming them into beautiful wall hangings and table centerpieces.
With her husband Derral, they shared a loving life at their home on Lake Michigan. Alice enjoyed walking on the beach nearly every day looking to discover what treasures, rocks and gems the waves and wind had uncovered. She will be missed by many of the Buttersville Peninsula residents.

The family would like to thank the many wonderful staff members at the Evergreen Apartments and especially the Memory Care Unit for their love, friendship and special care they provided during Alice's stay. Both had special places in their hearts for each other.
Alice will be reunited with her husband, Derral at Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington and a celebration of both of their lives is to be scheduled this summer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
