Alice T. Henning, 91, of St. Clair Shores, Mich., formerly of Florence, Wis., passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008, at St. John Hospital, Detroit, Mich. She was born May 10, 1917 in Florence, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Anthony and Esther (DeSantis) Dreary. Alice graduated from Florence High School in 1935. She married Evert "Whitey" Henning on Feb. 21, 1942. He preceded her in death in November 1982. Alice worked in Detroit for the Federal – Mogul company, during the war years. She spent her summers at her home in Florence and winters at her home in St. Clair Shores. She is survived by one sister, Irene Meress, Florence; many nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
