Obituary

Crystal Falls: Alice J. Gollakner died June 1, 2004, at Florence Villa in Florence, WI. She was born May 6, 1916, in Crystal Falls, the daughter of the late Ivar and Ida Isaacson. She had been a lifelong resident of this area. Alice married Gerhardt Gollakner on January 1, 1936. He preceded her in death on October 3, 1986. Alice was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Florence, WI. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed her family as well as tennis and especially golf. She is survived by four daughters; Arlene (Bruno) Krajewski of Crystal Falls, Gail (Bob) Miller of Mount Pleasant, lower Michigan, Susan (Jim) Overly of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Lynn (Randy) Wolff of Irving, Texas, one son Gary Gollakner of Alpha, thirteen grandchildren, Alyson Emmers, Darin Krajewski, Keane Krajewski, Tracy Waring, Christine Wesling, Jon Gollakner, Scott Miller, Dean Miller, Kelly Miller, Jim Overly, Derek Overly, Keith Gollakner and Jacob Sampe and 18 great –grandchildren, a sister Margaret Leemgraven, a brother Roy Isaacson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her brothers, Herbert Isaacson, Arnold Isaacson and John Isaacson and her sisters Gladys Dobson, Ruth Bundeson and Gunhild Isaacson. Visitation will be held on Thursday at 10:30 until noon for the immediate family at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. Visitation will be held for the other family and friends on Thursday from noon until 3:00p.m. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:00p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Andrew Schwartz will officiate. Interment will follow the service at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls.
