Alfred Seymour, 61, of Florence, Wis. passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, Mich.
He was born in Long Lake, Wis. on December 10, 1947, son of the late Earl and Doris (Sparks) Seymour. Alfred grew up in Long Lake and attended the Long Lake and Florence schools. He moved to Loundon, Tenn. and worked for Hutch Manufacturing Company as a forklift operator. Alfred recently moved back to Florence, Wis. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing.
Alfred is survived by a daughter, Christine (Doug) Baldwin, Connelly Springs, NC; two sisters, Clara (Cliff) McLain, Florence, Violet (Ken)Gilgan, Rockford, IL; six brothers, Daniel (Kathy) Seymour, Center Valley, Wis., Randy (Midge),Whitefish, Mont., Ken (Ag), Iron River, Mich., Robert (Tammy), Kiln, MS, Donald, Fond du Lac, Wis., Terry (Terry), Antigo, Wis.; two grandchildren, Alex and Mark Baldwin, Connelly Springs; special friends, Linda and Larry Halada, Long Lake, Pat and Jim Stroup, Rockford; and many nieces and nephews.

The Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence is serving the family.
Visitation will be Monday, March 23, 2009, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence.
Funeral service will be Monday 6:00p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate.
Burial will be in Long Lake Cemetery in the spring.
