Albina Marion Walsh, age 87, of Crystal Falls, died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born March 1, 1919, in Crystal Falls daughter of the late Paul and Katherine (Chirpka) Cwik. She married Lawrence Walsh and he preceded her in death on July 6, 1987. Survivors include one brother, Daniel G. (Eileen) Cwik, Crystal Falls; and four sisters sister, Adeline (Elio) Mattioli, Iron River, Carol (Rick) Gulczynski, Pound, Wis., Betty (Jed) Nowak, Milwaukee, Wis., Eunice (Harold) Kwapick, Milwaukee, Wis., and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Andrew Cwik, Paul Cwik, and one sister, Margie Milan. A private funeral mass was held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls on Saturday, July 8, 2006. The Rev. Dino Silvestrini officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls. Pallbearers included, Daniel Cwik, Rick Gulczynski, Harold Kwapick, Serio Tadiello, Larry Mattioli, and Elio Mattioli. The Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls is serving the family.
