Obituary

Adeline M. "Addie" Lantinen, age 82, of Florence, Wis., passed away Thursday, October 04, 2018, at the Florence Health Services, Florence, Wis.

She was born June 2, 1936, in Iron River, Mich., daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Hall. Addie grew up on the family farm in Iron River. She was united in marriage to Donne Hancock and together they bought a farm in Spread Eagle, where they raised their family. Addie later married Toivo Lantinen. Both preceded her in death.

Addie enjoyed playing bingo, playing games with the family including, scrabble, cribbage, yahtzee, dice and sorry and was known to be a joker. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Gary (Patricia) Hancock, Menasha, Wis.; five daughters, JoAnna Chase, Neenah, Wis., Georgia (Doug Romig) Hancock, Vancouver, Wash., Vicki (Mark) Kuzmic, Spread Eagle, Wis., Louise (Myron) Schlueter, Severna Park, Maryland, and Debbie Paul, Appleton, Wis.; two sisters, Tressa Hoffman, Florence, Wis. and Carol (Bill) Basto, Iron River, Mich.; fourteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Donne and Toivo, Adeline was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Sylvester; and by one sister, Rose.

A graveside service will take place Friday, October 26, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Commonwealth Cemetery, Commonwealth, Wis.
