Iron Mountain:
Adele M. Schultz age 90 of Dunbar, Wisconsin, died Sunday February 16, 2003,
at Hyland Nursing Home in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
Adele was born on October 6, 1912, in Lima Center, Wisconsin, daughter of the
late George and Minna (Krueger) Roe.
Adele grew up in Whitewater, Wisconsin, and attended school there. She married Forrest Schultz on July 28, 1934 in Whitewater. They resided in Whitewater, Johnstown, and Janesville. Forrest preceded her is death on September 14, 1975. While living in Janesville she was employed by Hufcor Co. Expandable and Dividing doors and served as Union Treasurer for years. She retired in March of 1979. Adele moved to Dunbar, Wisconsin in 1995.
Adele was an active member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Janesville and Dunbar Covenant Church in Dunbar. While in Janesville she served at St. Matthew's on the Forever Young, Evening Guild, and Homemakers societies, and while at Dunbar she was a member of the Homemakers society. Adele also served as a 4-H Leader for over fifteen years while in Janesville. Adele enjoyed many hobbies including crochetting, sewing, cooking, and gardening.
Adele is survived by David (Diana) Schultz of Dunbar and Norman (Ann) Schultz of Janesville, Wisconsin. She is survived by six grandchildren, Nicolle, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Carolyn, Suzanne, and Michelle and nine great grandchildren.
She is preceded by one daughter Phyllis Larson, one sister Marguarite Smith, and one Grandson Ronald Schultz.
Visitation will be Wednesday February 19, 2003, from 9:30 to 11:00a.m. at Dunbar Covenant Church in Dunbar. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00a.m. at the Dunbar Covenant Church with Pastor Mark Ryan officiating. There will also be a visitation held Thursday, February 20, 2003, from 12:00 to 1:00p.m. at Milton Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Janesville, Wisconsin with Pastor David Sievert officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be; Mark Aarstad, Jeff Schultz, Paul Minkey, Joel DeLosSantos, John Brown and Earl Plemel.
