Crystal Falls: Adah Lundberg Mindock, age 80, of Crystal Falls, died February 19, 2004, at her home. She was born in Ontonagon, Michigan, May 19, 1923, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Armstrong) Lundberg. She attended Crystal Falls High School and graduated in 1941. She attended Cleary College in Ypsilanti, MI, and graduated in 1943. Adah worked as a Secretary for Willow Run Bomber Plant and Michigan State College. On June 12, 1947, in East Lansing, Michigan, she married Joseph Mindock. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1992. Adah worked as Parish Secretary at Guardian Angels Catholic Church for twenty-four years from 1968-1992. Adah loved her family and her many friends in Crystal Falls. She was a believer in the motto-"Crystal Falls – The Friendly Town on the Hill." She had a strong Catholic faith and believed in the power of prayer. Adah is survived by six children, Paula (Sr.Teresita) Carmelite Monastery in Des Plaine, IL, Greg (Patti) Mindock of Richland, MI, Bob (Dianne) Mindock of Wausau, WI, Mary Etta Mindock of Beaverton, OR, Paul Mindock of Green Bay, and Beth(Dave)L'Huillier of Sobieski, WI, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband Joseph, she was preceded in death by one son Tom in 1977, a brother Einar Lundberg of LaFayette, IN, and two sisters Mary Catherine Carr of Rockland, MI,, and Adora Ann Aten of Franklin, WI. Visitation will be Sunday, February 22, 2004, from 6 – 8 P.M. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home of Crystal Falls. Prayer service will be held Sunday at 8:00P.M. at the funeral home. Prayers will be recited Monday, 10:30 A.M. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00A.M. at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Fr. Norman Clisch will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in the Spring.
