Obituary for Yvonne E. O'Leary (Djorsing)
Kingsford- Yvonne E. O’Leary, 69, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, Iron Mountain, Mich.
She was born April 4, 1953, in Copenhagen, Denmark, daughter of the late Hardy and Inge Lis (Nielsen) Djorsing. Yvonne lived in Denmark until the age of five, when her family relocated to Canada. They later moved to Virginia and then Southern California, where Yvonne grew up in Mission Viejo. Yvonne met Michael O’Leary while working at Disneyland and they were married in September of 1980, in California. Following marriage, they resided in California before moving to West Allis, Wis., and later in 2012, moved to Kingsford, Mich. Michael preceded her in death in September of 2021.
Yvonne enjoyed drawing, gardening, and cooking.
Survivors include two sons, Sven (Cornelia) Djorsing, Cumming, Georgia, and Michael O’Leary II, West Allis, Wis.; one sister, Bente Bernstein, Georgia; and three grandchildren, Elijah, Maria, and Isaiah.
In accordance with Yvonne’s wishes, private family services will be held.
