Obituary for Timothy Craig Leffler

Florence- Timothy Craig Leffler, age 63, was freed from his battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a rare neurological disease, on Thursday, September 30, 2021, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family.

He was born August 31, 1958, in Crystal Falls, Mich., son of the late Paul and Shirley (Schlanert) Leffler. Tim grew up in Florence and was a graduate of Florence High School, class of 1976.

Tim was an excellent carpenter, avid outdoorsman, and a friend to all who knew him. He took great pride in his craftsmanship, loved spending time with family, and never passed up a chance to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed watching Wisconsin sports, traveling the backroads, and cracking open a cold one.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher and Chad Leffler; two daughters, Chantel and Cheyenne Leffler; the mother of his children and one of his best friends, Sharon Leffler; five brothers, Richard (Paula) Leffler, Donald (Beanie) Leffler, Daniel Leffler, Terry (Pam) Leffler and Doug Leffler; three sisters, Patricia Spencer, Paula (Donald) Vassar, and Laurie Baker; three grandchildren, Ciara, Aaliyah, and Donihue; and by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Leffler and Kathleen Jezeski.

The family would like to give special thanks to his amazing daughter, Chantel, who was always there for him, never leaving his side until the very end.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence, Wis. The funeral service will take place Thursday, 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
