Obituary for Rosemarie Manganaro Davis
Iron Mountain - Rosemarie Manganaro-Davis, 80, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Florence Health Services, Florence, Wisc. Rose fought a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 29, 1943, in Boston, Mass., daughter of the late Guy and Grace (Hanes) Manganaro.
Rosemarie married Herbert Davis on June 10, 1997, in Illinois. Soon after being married, they moved to Wausaukee, Wisc., then Oconto, Wisc. until 2000, at which time they then moved to Pembine, Wisc. Herbert preceded her in death on February 12, 2011.
Rosemarie was a CNA earlier in life and enjoyed taking care of people. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, and her specialty was manicotti and meatballs. Her family was most important to her, and she was proud of her Italian heritage.
Survivors include her children, Dean (Tena) Anderson, Sarah (Robert) Pendleton, Kristina (Robert) Thomas, and Kyle Anderson, and son-in-law Kevin Snodgrass; seven grandchildren: William, Lacy, David, Larissa, Jordan, Emily, and Isaiah; and two great-grandchildren, Braylon and Penelope. She also leaves behind two sisters, Sarah Bullen and Jacky Davis, and a brother, Bill Manganaro.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemarie was preceded in death by her daughter Wendy, grandson Joshua, and brothers John Manganaro and Walter Manganaro.
Visitation will be Monday, March 25, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, Mich.
