Obituary for Ronald L. "Ron" Chartier
Niagara- Ronald L. Chartier,67, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.
He was born November 15, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wis., son of the late Clayton and Lorraine (Peterson) Chartier. Ron worked as a mason for Sharp Masonry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and working on both cars and home improvements. He was a jack of all trades but especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his significant other, Tracey Meyer, Niagara, Wis.; two brothers, Dennis (Shannon) Chartier, Brookfield, Wis. and Joseph (Robin) Chartier, Cleveland, Tenn.; four sisters, Beverly (Jacob) Paccagnella, Niagara, Wis., Kathleen (James) Pulley, East Troy, Wis., Mary Olszewski, Johnson Creek, Wis., and Cindy (Mark) Mueller, Milwaukee, Wis.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by three sisters, Carol (Chuck) Selke, Jean (Bob) Dedert, and Susan Chartier; one brother, Jerome (Beverly) Chartier; and one brother-in-law, Thomas Olszewski.
Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara, Wis. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Michael Kowalewski will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wis.
