Obituary for Roger W. Moore

Tipler- Roger W. Moore, 87, of Tipler, Wis., passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the Aspirus Iron River Hospital, Iron River, Mich.

He was born January 27, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wis., son of the late Edgar and Petronella (Reible) Moore. Roger grew up in Milwaukee and was a graduate of Messmer High School. Following high school, he proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War, until his honorable discharge. On June 11, 1998 he was united in marriage to Mary Lowman in Tipler, Wis. Following marriage, they continued to reside in Tipler. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2012.

Roger was the president of Lake Health Care Facilities Inc. and was a Ham Radio Operator (KE9D). He was a member of the Iron Range Amateur Radio Club and the Amateur Radio Friends World Wide along with his wife Mary.

Survivors include one son, Scott (Julie) Moore, Hartford, Wis.; two daughters, Debra (Cliff) Unertl, Fond du Lac, Wis., and Colleen (Jay) Fredrick, Iron Ridge, Wis.; one sister, Kathleen Peri, Menomonee Falls, Wis.; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and by special friends, Joe and Jane Jochem and Dorothy Hookenson.

IN addition to his parents and wife, Mary, Roger was preceded in death by his son, Charles Moore.
