Obituary for Robert J. Parent
Robert J. Parent, 68, of Green Bay, Wis., passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Oconto Falls, Wis.
Bob was born in Marquette, Mich., to Jim and Mary (Soucy) Parent. He received his undergraduate degree from UW Oshkosh and his Juris Doctor in Law from Marquette University. He practiced Law in Green Bay, Wis., for more than two decades.
Bob was a super Packer fan. He enjoyed all sports, particularly downhill skiing, playing softball and golf. Bob was an avid reader and trivia expert. His greatest joy, later in life, was spending time with his grandson Mason. He was the fun uncle, always generous with friends and family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Todd and Donny, and nephew Timmy Parent.
Bob is survived by his daughter Kristina Parent, son Ben Parent, grandson Mason Bradshaw, his children’s mother Debra Parent, and siblings Jim (Jackie) of Wetmore, Mich.; Steve (Cindy) of New Franken, Wis.; Dave (Lynn) of Green Bay, Wis.; Tom (Judy) of Niagara, Wis.; Brian (Jeanette) of Niagara, Wis.; and Bruce (Anne) of Crown Point, Ind.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church, Green Bay, Wis. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., at the church. The mass will be celebrated by his nephew, Fr. Greg Parent.
