Obituary for Robert L. Bicigo
Crystal Falls- Robert L. Bicigo, 85, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Aspirus Iron River Hospital, Iron River, Mich.
He was born October 1, 1934, in Crystal Falls, Mich., son of the late Emil and Noemi (Meneguzzo) Bicigo. Robert grew up in Crystal Falls and graduated from Forest Park High School, class of 1952. Robert proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. He was united in marriage to Marjorie “Marge” Nixon. Robert worked as a phone installer for Western Electric AT&T for 41years until his retirement.
He was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Robert truly enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at camp.
Survivors include his loving wife, Marge Bicigo, Crystal Falls; one son, Robert (Gina Lee) Bicigo, Naples, Fla.; two grandsons, Brent and Alex Bicigo; one sister, Irma (Frank) Quinney, Crystal Falls, two sisters-in-law, Jeanette Bicigo, Marquette, Mich., and Dorothy Bicigo, Crystal Falls; and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three brothers, Leo, Bruno and Emil Bicigo; and by two sisters, Iris and Marlene Bicigo.
In accordance with Robert’s wishes, private family services will be held.
