Obituary for Richard R. Cardinal

Niagara- Richard R. Cardinal, age 82, passed away on November 29, 2020, at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home in Niagara, Wis.

Richard was born on December 30, 1937, in Norway, Mich., son of the late Arthur and Albanna Cardinal. He resided all his life in Niagara.

Richard loved his sports – his name was Cardinal, BUT he was a Tiger fan and, of course, a Packer fan. He liked playing games on his computer, and he enjoyed a trip to the Casino once in a while with his sister Aileen, and when Maryhill went, he went too.

Richard enjoyed working many years at Trico Opportunities in Kingsford.

Anybody who knows Richard knows how much he loves the snow; he would love it if it snowed all year round.

Richard is survived by many nieces and nephews; he was loved, and he will be missed.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and Stepfather Dominic Sartori. He was also preceded by his siblings, Kenneth (Joyce) Cardinal and Aileen (Wayne) Lowis, both of Niagara.

In accordance with Richard’s wishes, private family services will be held. Burial will take place in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wis.

The family of Richard Cardinal would like to say thank you to (special friends) Bob, Jan & their family for all the times you stopped by and visited and the cards and the treats; it meant a lot to him. And a special thank you to his adopted family – The Maryhill Family, who has taken such good care of Richard for many years now; God Bless You and thank you all.
