Obituary for Nicholas G. Krause
Florence- Nicholas G. Krause, 30, of Florence, Wis., passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.
He was born February 6, 1990 in Milwaukee, Wis., son of Tim and Paula (Klover) Krause. Nicholas grew up in Racine and was a graduate of Nathan Hale, West Allis, Wis. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper, serving in Haiti.
Nicholas was a strong and handsome man who had a great sense of humor and was one of a kind. He was very social and never met a stranger. Nicholas loved his family, friends, playing music and drumming, skateboarding, and telling an inside joke or quoting a line from a movie.
Survivors include his parents, Tim Krause, Waterford Wis. and Paula Krause, Florence, Wis.; one daughter, Aubre Apelgren, Mukwonago, Wis.; one brother, Timothy Allen Krause, Milwaukee, Wis.; one sister, Kourtnie Krause, Florence, Wis.; one niece, Grace Amicangelo; grandmother, Nola Krause, South Carolina; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; and by special friends, Barb Spiegel, Myles Spiegel and family.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Donna Printz.
In accordance with Nicholas’ wishes, private family services will be held.
