Obituary for Michael T. Plourde
Kingsford- Michael T. Plourde, 57, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.
He was born July 27, 1964, in Fort Benning, Georgia, son of Wallace and Karen (Anderson) Plourde. Michael grew up in Kingsford and was a graduate of Kingsford High School. He worked as a hydraulic operator for All-Lift until his health started to diminish.
Michael enjoyed hunting, camping, repairing things, tinkering and remodeling, driving his side by side, campfires, playing horseshoes, going to rummage sales every Saturday with his best friend Kutz, but especially hanging with his family and friends.
Survivors include his long-time companion, Jodi Edberg, Kingsford, Mich.; two sons, Cody (Kelsie) Rodman and Dustin (Megan) Rodman; his mother, Karen Peronto; two brothers, Joseph (Liz) Plourde and Douglas Plourde; two grandchildren, Everett and Nova Rodman; one nephew, Joey (Alaina Gendron) Plourde; 3 nieces, Karissa (Zack Siedel), Katelyn Garrison, and Kacee Garrison.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Plourde.
In accordance with Michael’s wishes, private family services will be held.
