Obituary for Michael B. Carollo
Iron Mountain- Michael B. Carollo, 80, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, Wis.
He was born July 19, 1940, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Anton and Genevieve (Worley) Carollo. Michael grew up in Iron Mountain and was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School, class of 1958. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. Michael worked as a purchasing agent for Lake Shore until his retirement.
Survivors include his son, Brenden Carollo, Iron Mountain; one sister, Joan Bradley; four nieces, Robin Davidson, Sheri Adams, Colleen Albert, Heather Bradley; one aunt, Carmen LaFreniere; many cousins; and by his best friend, Dale Meyer.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain, Mich. The Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post #50, Iron Mountain, will accord military honors at graveside.
