Obituary for Mary L. Ward (Plucker)
Kingsford- Mary L. Ward, 83, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at ProMedica Skilled Nursing Facility, Kingsford, Mich.
She was born March 6, 1938, in Fairbanks Township, Mich., daughter of the late George E. and Jeanette G. (Gregware) Plucker. She married William Ward on February 22, 1955. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2014.
Mary enjoyed going to the casino, doing puzzles, and playing games with her family and friends.
Survivors include one son, Mark Ward; one daughter, Nicole Hosking; five grandchildren, Katlyn Hosking, Taylor Hosking, Jake Hosking, Ashley (Brad) Landis and Heather (Tommy) Kliss; and by three great-grandchildren, Aiden Ward, Ashton Landis and Addalynn Kliss.
In addition to her parents and husband, William, Mary was preceded in death by five brothers, Bob, Edward, Curly, Donald, and John.
In accordance with Mary’s wishes, private family services will be held.
