Goodman – Macario “Marco” Cornejo, 76, of Goodman, Wisc., passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018, peacefully at his home.

He was born on January 15, 1942, in a small settlement near Poncitlán in the state of Jalisco, México. Son of the late Alfonso Cornejo González and María Carmen Villa Sánchez de Cornejo. Marco married Patricia Agnes Marciulionis on April 24, 1970, in Illinois. She preceded him in death.

He enjoyed all the outdoors had to offer especially deer hunting, fishing and the walks he took in the woods.

He is survived by his five children Carmen (Joseph) Campain, Victor Cornejo, Juan (Kristine) Cornejo, Carlos (Sara) Cornejo and Cristina Cornejo; nine grandchildren Emma, Clara, Lucia and Simon Campain; Kain Cornejo; Braden, Reese and Marshal Cornejo and Maya Cornejo. His youngest brother Alfredo (Imelda) Cornejo Villa, one brother-in-law Roberto López Padilla; many aunts, uncles; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who reside in México and the United States.

In addition to his parents and his wife Patricia of 44 years, Marco was preceded in death by one brother Juan Jose Cornejo Villa and one sister María Isabel Cornejo Villa de López.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Armstrong Creek, Wisc. The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, 11:00 am at the church. Rev. Fr. Gregory Veneklase will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman, Wisc.
