Obituary for John W. Davis
Norway- John W. Davis, 78, of Norway, Mich., passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Meadowbrook in Oconto Falls, Wisc.
He was born September 2, 1944, in Waukegan, Ill., son of the late Harold and Rose (Trautner) Davis. John proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge and worked as a mechanic for Liberty Auto and Sears.
Survivors include his sister, Nancy Handyside, Norway, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jim Davis; sister, JoAnn Silvis.; and a niece, Peggy Slupik.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich.
The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich., to honor John’s legacy of life.
