Obituary for Jeffrey A. "Jeff" Kantz

Kingsford- Jeffrey A. Kantz, 66, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, Mich., following a long battle with cancer.

He was born February 25, 1954 in Marinette, Wis., son of the late Melvin Kantz and Adell (Francis) Slottke. Jeff grew up in Pembine and graduated from Pembine High School, class of 1972. He went on to service in the United States Air Force and after 13 years was honorably discharged. Jeff resided in Kingsford and is best known for his service as a chef at the Breen Senior Citizen Center, Kingsford, Mich.

He is survived by his sister, Vicki (Kantz) Koss, Merrill, Wis.; and his faithful companion, his dog, Odamae.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by one sister, Karmen Kantz.

Private family graveside services will be held. Jeff will rest with his family at the Pembine Cemetery, Pembine, Wis.
