Tipler- Janet A. Yacovelli, 59, of Tipler, Wis., passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020, as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born February 10, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Henry and Theresa (Gomez) Nagel. Janet grew up in Chicago and lived in numerous suburbs of Chicago. Janet resided in Log Port, New Jersey, Berwyn, Illinois for a few years before moving to Goodman, Wis. in 1996. She along with her longtime companion George Marciulionis, owned and operated Tipler Bar and Grill from 2006 until they retired in 2019.
In her earlier years she was active in the Girl Scouts. Janet enjoyed dancing, camping, playing cribbage, shooting pool, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Donald (Stephanie) Lenehan, Long Lake, Wis.; her mother, Theresa Nagel, Park Falls, Wis.; two brothers, Kenneth (Ellen) Nagel, Berwyn, Illinois and Vance (Lisa) Nagel, Lutz, Florida; one sister, Nancy (Jeffrey) Chiappetta, Park Falls, Wis.; four grandchildren, Kevyn Lenehan, Keischa Wayman, Nacole Swanson and Natalie Swanson; three great-grandchildren, Asher, Sabastion, and Roland; and many nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her father, Henry.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020, 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Armstrong Creek, Wis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. Fr. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
