Obituary for Gloria C. Plank (Cram)

Iron Mountain- Gloria Cena Cram Plank, 77, of Iron Mountain, Mich., formerly of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.

She was born August 27, 1943, in La Porte, Indiana, daughter of the late Ellen (George) Dahl and Bert Cram. Gloria was baptized in 1953 by the Jehovah's Witnesses. She attended Crystal Falls Schools and graduated from Iron Mountain High School, class of 1969. Gloria was employed as a school bus driver for Niagara Wis. and worked as a CNA at Americana for seven years and the Iron County Medical Care Facility for 19 years.
Gloria married the late George J. Michaud in 1963, and they had four children. She then married the late Raymond W. Plank on May 24, 1991, in Crystal Falls. They were residents of Crystal Falls until they moved to Iron Mountain in 2015. Ray preceded her in death on October 26, 2018.

Gloria was a faithful member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years. She enjoyed telling others about her faith. Gloria always had many friends and family surrounding her. She loved her family very much and people in general. Gloria enjoyed going to the lake, feeding the birds and deer, going out to eat, and socializing. If you met Gloria, you had a friend for life. She touched a lot of people's lives.

Survivors include one son, Guy (Laureen) Michaud; three daughters, Gigi (Ed) Thoune, Gidget Jesseman, and Ginger Michaud; one stepdaughter, Jacci (Eric) Clawson, special daughter, Dawn (Tom) Roche; two brothers, Russel Cram Sr., and Paul (Renee) Cram, both of Arizona; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; very special friends David and Connie Carpenter and Ron Gregor; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, George and Ray, Gloria was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Harry Cram; one sister, Evelyn Hebein; one grandson, Jake Michaud; and one great-grandson, Anthony Seymour.

In accordance with Gloria’s wishes private service will be held. Burial will be in Breitung Township Cemetery, Quinnesec, Mich.
