Obituary for George J. Marciulionis

Tipler- George J. Marciulionis, 56, of Tipler, Wis., passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020, as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born October 23, 1963 in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of the late Vitold and Jacqueline (Murray) Marciulionis. George grew up in the Goodman-Armstrong Creek and graduated from Goodman-Armstrong Creek High School, class of 1983. He was a truck driver all of his life and over the last couple of years has been employed by L.R. Vincent Trucking. He along with his longtime companion Janet Yacovelli owned and operated Tipler Bar and Grill from 2006 until they retired in 2019.

George enjoyed hunting, fishing, but most of all spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include one son, Donald (Stephanie) Lenehan, Long Lake, Wis.; two brothers, Don (Mary) Marciulionis, Sr. and Al (Lois) Marciulionis, both of Goodman, Wis.; six sisters, Marge (Carroll) Flees, Berwyn, Illinois, Mary (Daniel) Simmons, Mesquite, Texas, Frances (Michael) Bocinsky, Goodman, Wis., Lorraine (Roger Norris) Marciulionis, Dunbar, Wis., Jacqueline (Girodano II) Ipsa, Armstrong Creek, Wis. and Emily (Gene) Sparapani, Merriman, Mich.; four grandchildren, Kevyn Lenehan, Keischa Wayman, Nacole Swanson and Natalie Swanson; three great-grandchildren, Asher, Sabastion, and Roland; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by two brothers, Vitold B. and Raymond L. Marciulionis; two sisters, Laverne A. Marciulionis and Macario (Marco) Cornejo; and two nieces, Jennifer Marciulionis and Audry Ipsa.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020, 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Armstrong Creek, Wis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. Fr. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman, Wis.
