My sympathy to your family. I got to know "EJ" (as we called her) through our quilting guild. She was always willing to lend a hand, and a lot of fun at the retreats (I can still hear her laugh.)
Cherish the memories she left you with. May you find peace and comfort that only faith brings during this time.

To Joey and Melissa and those who loved Evelyn, I was her neighbor for many, many years and the first time I met her I was amazed at howwww much she already knew about me lol...that was Evelyn....over the years we grew to become not only neighbors but good friends. When my Father was dying with cancer she brought me a prayer shawl she and the ladies from her church had made and prayed over, this gift was of great comfort to most a very difficult time. Evelyn had such a big heart and always did nice things for others and loved in a big way. Evelyn was so proud of her family, her church, her beloved cats, the Veterans etc...a passionate lady that did so much for others. I still had her cell number in my phone and tried calling it a few times but figured I would run into her sooner or later but sadly that didn’t happen. I pray she is in the arms of our Lord and at peace. May you find comfort in your memories of Evelyn. I loved the picture you chose...it’s perfect and I really enjoyed the video too you represented her perfectly. Hugs and sympathies to you all.

Dear Joey ~
We are so sorry & saddened to hear of the passing of your dear Mother. It was a shock to us to hear the news.
Evelyn was a beautiful person... always so kind & caring! She was a wonderful caregiver at Manor Care years ago when my Mom was there for a period of time... and then my Mom was Blessed to be her neighbor at Rivers Bend for 12 years! She was always so nice & friendly & it was a pleasure to have your parents as neighbors & know that they were 'there' for my Mom if need be!
Through many years, we have enjoyed seeing your Mom & visiting. She loved our children & always asked about them. That meant so much to us!
Your Mom & Dad will remain in our thoughts & prayers forever. We will miss her.
Cherish the 'special' memories!
Our Deepest Sympathy to You & Your Family~
