Obituary for Elaine J. Fascinelli (Cerasoli)
Iron Mountain-Elaine J. Fascinelli, age 90, a longtime resident of Iron Mountain, passed away on
Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Bornemann Nursing Home, Green Bay, Wis.
She was born February 8, 1929, in Iron Mountain, Mich., daughter of the late Adolph and Jennie (Pietrantonio) Cerasoli. Elaine grew up in Iron Mountain and was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School, class of 1947. On October 20, 1951, she was united in marriage to Peter Fascinelli at
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain. Elaine worked for many years in the office for Khoury Brothers Unfinished Furniture before her retirement. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain.
Elain enjoyed playing dartball and was on the Occhietti Jewelers BowlingTeam. She loved bingo and playing cards.
Elaine was a loving mother and wife. She was the primary caregiver for her husband in his 3-year battle with cancer. Her love allowed Peter his wish of staying in his own home until his death.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jean (Chuck) Eifler, Green Bay, Wis.; one granddaughter, Dr. Sandra (Sheridan) Seale, Seattle, Wash.; one great-grandson, Andrew Rhys; one sister, Rosalie Hanson, Kingsford; sisters-in-law, Mary Meyer and Barbara Ravanelli; niece Kathy Lane and nephews Dr. Dan Rodman, Steve Meyer, and Rodney Ravanelli.
In addition to her parents and husband, Peter, Elaine was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Marie Rodman.
Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2019, 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Prayers will be recited Friday,12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
The family would like to thank Evergreen Heights, Bornemann CBRF and SNF, and Unity Hospice for all the care she received over the last 8 years.
