Obituary for Dennis Ray Forstrom
Madison- Dennis R. Forstrom, age 72, a long-time resident of Madison, Wisc., passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at his home.
He was born May 11, 1950, in Madison, son of the late Harry and Irene (Ciula) Forstrom. Dennis grew up and graduated from high school in Madison. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. Dennis worked as a salesman for Conney Safety Products, retiring after 30 years. He was an avid bowler who enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, hunting and traveling to the Waucedah area for many years.
Survivors include his cousins, Deke Forstrom, Quinnesec, Mich., Cheryl Forstrom, Quinnesec, Mich., Douglas (Paula) Forstrom, Felch, Mich., and Anna Forstrom, Quinnesec, Mich., as well as numerous other cousins; and by special friends, Theresa Farris and Laura Davis, both of Madison, Wisc.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Forstrom.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Norway Township Cemetery, Norway, Mich. Rev. Marty Flynn will officiate. The American Legion Post #50, Iron Mountain, will accord Military Honors at the graveside.
The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Iron Mountain, Mich., to honor Dennis’ legacy of life.
