Obituary for Delores M. Kernen
Delores M. Kernen, age 93, of Florence, Wis., passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Florence Health Services, Florence, Wis.
She was born April 18, 1925, in Stambaugh, Mich., daughter of the late Frank and Frieda (Roever) Kernen. Delores grew up in Stambaugh and graduated from Stambaugh High School, Class of 1939. After high school she resided in San Diego, Calif., Columbus, Ohio, Milwaukee, Wis., Caroline, Wis., and Antigo, Wis., before moving to Florence in 2014. While living in Milwaukee, Delores worked as a foreman for 15 years for Velvac Inc., New Berlin, Wis.
She enjoyed many hobbies including, fishing, dancing, knitting and crocheting.
Delores is survived by one daughter, Janice Kernen, Alpha, Mich.
In addition to her parents Delores was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond, Willard, Frank Jr. and Elmer Kernen; and by three sisters, Marie Millhouse, Lenora Creech, and Evelyn Ribbich.
