Obituary for David E. Neuens
Florence- David E. Neuens, 58, of Florence, Wis., passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Freeman Nursing & Rehab., Kingsford, Mich.
He was born October 18, 1962 in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of Robert and Elsie (Asplund) Neuens. David grew up in Florence and was a graduate of Florence High School, class of 1980. He went on to receive his associates degree from NWTC. On March 10, 2001 he was united in marriage to Lori Sjoquist.
David was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle who loved his family. He was an avid hunter and coached both little league and basketball.
Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Lori Neuens; three sons, Tony (Abby) Neuens, Kurt Neuens, and Tyer (Chelsea) Neuens; two daughter, Shelby Neuens and Samantha Jo Neuens; four brothers, Don (Janet) Neuens, Doug (Cheryl) Neuens, Dean (Shelly) Neuens and Daryl (Jodi) Neuens; his mother, Elsie Neuens; grandchildren, Olivia, Lincoln, and Henry; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his father, Robert Neuens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. The memorial service will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate.
