Obituary for Dale L. Nichols
Fence- Dale L. Nichols, age 82, of Fence, Wis., passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at St. Lukes Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wis.
He was born July 28, 1937, in Florence, Wis., son of the late Benedict and Carol (Hammer) Nichols. Dale married Helen Verbunker on August 29, 1959 in Cudahy, Wis. She preceded him in death on February 10, 2019. Dale worked at AMC Parts Distribution plant for 30 years. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Armstrong Creek, Wis.
Dale loved family and friends, working on cars, and was known for having a sweet tooth.
Dale is survived by one sister, Diane Rhode, South Milwaukee, Wis.; four sons, Richard Nichols, Fence, Wis., Benedict Nichols, Milwaukee, Wis., Dale (Karen) Nichols, Greenfield, Wis., and Duane (Becky) Nichols, New Berlin, Wis.; and by one grandchild.
In addition to his parents and wife, Dale was preceded in death by five brothers, Al, Bill, Mike, Buck and Gordon Nichols; and one sister, Lorraine Dunkel.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 6, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Armstrong Creek, Wis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. Fr. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will take place in Fence Cemetery, Fence, Wis., in the spring.
