Kingsford- Curtis L. Wickman, 65, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Saturday, April 26, 2020, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility, Powers, Mich.
He was born October 25, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Ronald and Nellie (Naiman) Wickman. Curtis grew up and attended school in Kingsford. He worked as a mason along with his father all his life. Curtis later worked for Perry, Norway, Mich. and Aurora Castings for many years before retiring.
Curtis enjoyed hunting and loved socializing with family and friends throughout the years. He raced stockcars and loved the Norway Speedway.
Survivors include his very special friend, Cheryl Gerwig, and her two sons, Andrew (Tiffany) Gerwig, Norway, Mich., and Joseph (Traci) Gerwig, Iron Mountain, Mich.; two daughters, Alyssa Murray and her two children, Brayden and Jacob, all of Milwaukee and Brynn Schultz and her three children, Madelyn, Easton and Ella, all of Texas; two sisters, Anna Wickman and her children, Marty, April (and her daughter, Katelynn), and Zach, and Hilda (Ernie) Wickman-Vivio, and their children, Ed (Martin), Eric, Laura (Chris) Vivio-Karle, and their children, Alison and Gwendolyn; two aunts, Lola Hallenbeck, Norway, Mich. and Ginny Wickman, Chicago, Illinois; step-mother, Donna Wickman, Loretto, Mich.; and ex-wife, Denice Rossato-Miller.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by two uncles, Ken and Allen Wickman; and one niece, Ashley Edgar.
In accordance with Curtis’ wishes, private family graveside service will be held at Breitung Township Cemetery, Quinnesec, Mich.
