Obituary for Connie C. Bartholomew (Edwards)
Iron Mountain- Connie Edwards-Bartholomew, age 65, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Zilber Family Hospice, Wauwatosa, Wis.
She was born February 11, 1954, in Rockford, Ill, daughter of the late Irvin and Laverne (Hill) Edwards. Connie grew up and attended school in Portage, Indiana and graduated from Portage High School, class of 1975. She went on to attend Bay De Noc Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Business. Connie married Jerry Bartholomew on July 4, 2003 in Iron Mountain. Connie worked at Fontana’s Supper Club, UP Special Delivery, and was presently working at Dickinson County Healthcare System as a switch board operator.
Connie loved the outdoors, especially fishing, shooting, and animals.
She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Jerry; one son, James (Erin) Edwards, Beaver Dam, Wis.; one brother, Charles “Chuck” Edwards, Aurora, Wis.; and by one granddaughter, Audriana.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Eldon Edwards; one sister, Delores Edwards; one sister-in-law, Christine Edwards; and by one niece, Carie Edwards.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Rev. James Danielson will officiate.
