Obituary for Candice Lee "Candy" Shepley
Iron Mountain – Candice L. “Candy” Shepley, 64, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Dickinson County Health Care Systems, Iron Mountain.
She was born March 2, 1954, in Munising, Mich., daughter of the late Roy and Winolla (Higby) Shepley.
Candy resided in Munising until 1980 at which time she moved to Northern Illinois and worked in a plastic factory. In 1990, she moved to Iron Mountain. She enjoyed movies, music, taking drives, spending time with family and friends, but especially the time spent with her grandchildren. Candy’s unmistakable laugh will be missed by many.
She is survived by one son, Mark Wieland, Niagara, Wis.; two daughters, Shannon Brault, Niagara and Georgia Wieland, Iron Mountain.; two sisters, Ethel “Mazie” (Peter) Hebert, Munising and Lana (Frank) Heyrman, Shingleton, Mich.; four grandchildren, Devin, Ashley, Jim (Stephanie), Shayla; four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew, Aiden, and Torrin; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Candy was preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Shepley.
In accordance with Candy’s wishes, private family services were held.
