Obituary for David S. Jennings

David S.  Jennings
Aurora, Wis. — David S. Jennings, 57, formerly of Gwinn, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at his home in Aurora.

He was born February 17, 1958, son of the late Roger and Nancy (Vidlund) Jennings.

David grew up in Negaunee, Mich. and attended school in Negaunee and Sheboygan, Wis. While residing in Sheboygan, he worked for the Spiller Spring Company; he was also a self-employed truck driver. He later resided in Gwinn before moving to Aurora to be closer to his brother.

He was a member of the Richmond Twp. Club in Suomi. David enjoyed campfires, was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and cherished his pets, Benji and Lulu.

David is survived by one daughter, Amanda (Jeremiah) DeWitt, Richland, N.C.; one brother, Brian (Sue) Jennings, Aurora; one sister, Stephanie Frostic, Aurora; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Tyler and many nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate.
