She married Frank “Fluff” Santini on July 9, 1953, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2003. Fluff preceded her in death on August 16, 2005. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She also loved to spend her winters in Casa Grande, Arizona, and had many, many dear friends there. Since Fluff passed away, Maryann took care of the yard and helped her son Steve raise an amazing crop of tomatoes. She also was in charge of checking the wine barrels daily during wine making time.
