Obituary for Elizabeth Jean Kinsella (Franz)

Elizabeth Jean  Kinsella (Franz)
Niagara-Elizabeth J. Kinsella, age 75, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Maryhill Manor, Niagara, Wis.

She was born January 20, 1943, in Norway, Mich., daughter of the late Walter and Jeanette (Roeland-Krenn) Franz. Elizabeth has been a lifelong resident of Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School, Class of 1961. She worked in the Kimberly Clark Norway office for 10 years and later in the accounting department at Cliffs Forest Products which sold to Timber Products Company for 33 years. Elizabeth was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony Council of Catholic Women, the Niagara Women’s Club, the Norway Garden Club, Niagara Historical Society, active member of Friends of the Library, as well as volunteering at the Niagara Senior Center.

She loved gardening, flowers, sunshine and especially the time she spent with her family and friends.

Survivors include her two sons, Paul (Sue) Kinsella, Denmark, Wis. and Michael (fiancé Catie Bull) Kinsella, Stoughton, Wis.; three grandchildren, Collin, Logan and Taylor; and by one brother, Walter Franz, Niagara, Wis.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her step-father, George Krenn; and by two brothers, Robert Franz and Raymond Krenn.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara, Wis. A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the church. St. Anthony Council of Catholic Women will offer prayers at the church. Rev. Fr. Matt Settle will officiate. Burial will take place in Norway Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Niagara Historical Society in Elizabeth’s memory.
