Obituary for Luann C. Sericati (Jensen)

Luann C.  Sericati (Jensen)
Iron Mountain-Luann C. Sericati, 70, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Mon., December 11, 2017, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.

She was born March 19, 1947, in South St. Paul, Minn., daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille (Albreck) Jensen. Luann attended Kingsford High School and graduated with the Class of 1964. She went on to attend Milwaukee area Technical College where she received her LPN Degree. Luann worked briefly for St. Mary Hospital, Milwaukee, Wis. She married Gene Sericati and most recently celebrated their 54th anniversary. After being married Luann was an active member of the Police Wife’s Assoc. in Milwaukee and was a youth league football coach for St. Bernadette’s in Milwaukee for 15 years. Luann and Gene relocated back to Iron Mountain in 1995. She was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church, Kingsford, Mich.

Luann enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and loved the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Gene; three sons, Jeff (Victoria) Sericati, Manitowoc, Wis., Ron Sericati, Mesa, Arizona, and Steve (Dawn) Sericati, Richfield, Wis.; one sister, Donna (Don) Anderson, Minnesota; and four grandchildren, Kory, Katie, Ellie and Dominick.

In addition to her parents, Luann was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kristin.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 18, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Prayers will be recited Monday, 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, 11:00 a.m. at American Martyrs Catholic Church. Kingsford. Rev. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate.
